Two in One
Last Friday the the Giants vs Nationals game went to a full 18 innings, two times the length of a normal MLB game and ended with the Giants winning 2-1. Although Brandon Belt hit the game winning home run in the bottom of the 18th, it's hard to say exactly who the games MVP was. The game would have been over in the 9th if it wasn't for Pablo Sandoval's game tying RBI with two out, and the pitching was near perfect, Yusmeiro Petit who pitched innings 12 through 17, only allowed one hit.
This game lasted a lengthy 6 hour 23 minute (a postseason record) and proved that the Giants will continue their streak of amazing comebacks from their 2012 post season.
Great post man! I am not much of a baseball guy but what you're doing here is awesome. My favorite idea of this blog is the fact that you can quickly see the highlights of a game and take away the key factors of what happened if you don't have the time to watch the full game. This blog has potential , keep it up.
